De-Risking Innovation
I’m a former senior academic scientist who left academia to build a biotech startup. I co-founded the company as Chief Scientific Officer, designing its scientific, regulatory, and claims strategy. When the company made the strategic decision to focus on the FoodTech vertical, I stepped into the CEO role to lead that shift—aligning the science with market positioning, investment priorities, and commercial reality.
My work spans scientific evaluation, regulatory risk, claims substantiation, and innovation strategy across high-stakes projects, and I’m typically brought in when decisions matter: when ideas are scaling, investments are on the line, or senior-level judgment is required.
This work has been recognized by the industry and investors, including winning the 2025 FoodTech World Cup, being the FoodTech finalist in the DeepTech LATAM Startup Challenge, and being shortlisted among FoodNavigator’s Top 30 FoodTech Startups and Forward Fooding’s 500 AgriFoodTech companies.
